Dragwars hosted by Audi/VW GTI club
July 2012
On 1st July, the SR Speedworx and GIAC crew attended and participated in the ¼ mile event - Dragwars at Tarlton which was hosted by the Audi/VW GTI club. It was a great day out for the crew as all had a fun-filled and successful day. There were 3 cars that placed in the top 3 in their respective class.
Well done to:
Michael Tzinaris – 1st Place in the VAG Bigger Turbo class with a time of 12.5s (GIAC GT3071R Golf 5 GTI DSG) See photo below
Stanley Ah Towel – 3rd place in the VAG K03 class with a time of 13.3s (GIAC Stage 2+ Golf 6 GTI DSG) See photo below
Tavisha Moodley – 3rd place in the 6-cylinder class with a time of 13.5s (GIAC Stage 1 BMW 135i convertible A/T) See photo below
